Ippon Judo and Jujitsu opened its doors in February 2002 and has produced many state, national and international champions, not only on the mat but in life as well! Head instructor is Sensei David Wojcik a 3rd degree black belt in Judo and a 4th degree black belt in Dan Zan Ryu jujitsu. Sensei Wojcik provides a great family atmosphere but encourages students to work hard not only on the mat but in the class room as well. Ippon Judo and Jujitsu is home to Sensei Derek Wojcik. He is a multiple national and international champion as well as an 2010 and 2011 Jr world team member and a 2011 Pan am team member in the sport of Judo. Ippon Judo and Jujitsu provides a great Social, Mental and Physical outlet Ages start a 3 and the sky is the limit as Ippon Judo provides instruction to people well into their 50’s.
I joined Ippon Judo and Ju-Jitsu as a freshman in highschool. I had already been doing Tae Kwon Do for seven years and had distinguished myself in the striking realm of fighting and had become my sensei's project (he had already trained several world champions and thought I had talent). Needless to say i was shocked when people with a yellow belt on could take me to the ground and put me in an armbar. I am now a senior in highschool and i have significantly improved my game thanks to Sensei Dave and the rest of the class. For those who are looking into Ju-Jitsu to add another dimension to their fighting style (for self-defence or competition), I highly recommend Ippon Judo and Ju-Jitsu.
Our 8 year old son Dylan has been in the martial arts since he was 3 years old. When we moved from Miami to Georgia we were looking for the right place to put our son to continue to help him Grow physically, mentally. After a lot of research we found Ippon Judo. After talking to Sensei Dave we were confident this would be the best place to put our son. Dylan trained at Ippon Judo from the age of 4-6 at which time with so many other athletic obligations Dylan stopped for two years. Recently Dylan asked to come back to Ippon Judo in search of the training and competition which is made available at Ippon Judo. Sensei Dave is great with the kids and really gives them the physical and mental training they need to not only compete in tournaments but to deal with everyday challenges of being a kid.
We have been back at Ippon Judo for 2 months. We are very happy with the growth our son has made in his athletic ability, strength, self confidence and competitive edge.
Thanks Sensei Dave!

"Ippon Judo and Jujitsu has been the perfect fit for our family. Sensei Dave's superior knowledge and organization allows classes to be fun learning experiences filled with variety. He teaches every class himself therefore developing a relationship with each student and working with their strengths and weaknesses individually. In just 4 months, our children learned more skills than we ever imagined possible and they look forward to each and every class. Like most families, our schedule is very busy so we appreciate the many different days and times classes are offered. Thank you Sensei Dave for operating a first class dojo where our whole family can grow together in knowledge, skill, discipline and strength."
